The Rules
- All customers are required to review, agree to, and sign a liability release before entering the shop area. Photo ID is required for all customers over the age of 18.
- Anyone entering the shop area must be 18 years or older.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Customers cannot disconnect any charged or pressurized AC lines or components or otherwise cause refrigerant to escape from their vehicle's AC system. All work requiring the disconnection of AC lines or components must be completed on vehicles that have had their refrigerants professionally drained and safely stored. You will find these services at a variety of quick lube locations.
- Customers must bring their own fluids. This includes (but is not limited to) coolant, gear oil, brake/carb cleaner, and brake fluid.
- Customers must certify that the gross weight of their vehicle and all items in it does not exceed the 10,000lb maximum. Vehicles > 10,000Ibs are not allowed.
- Repair bays can on only accommodate up to three (3) individuals per bay.
- No alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or vaping products are allowed within the building, or within 25ft of any entrance.
- Nobody under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be allowed into the shop area.
- Customers must only use tools that they have experience with, and are able to use safely. All tools must be used safely at all times. Please consult BayMasters staff for guidance with any tools you are not familiar with.
- Closed-toe shoes are required in the shop area. Safety glasses and hearing protection are strongly recommended.
- Customers are not permitted to re-position the automotive lift points once the vehicle has been placed onto the lift. Ask BayMasters staff for assistance for any changes needed.
- Only black impact sockets (not chrome) are to be used with powered impact tools.
- Customers are responsible for all tools and equipment provided to them for their use. A replacement fee will be charged for missing tools, or for damaged tools due to misuse. You will not be responsible for tools that have reached the end of their lifecycle and happen to fail while you are using them.
- Customers must abide by all posted placards, signs, and notices, and adhere to BayMasters rules and regulations.
- BayMasters has a zero-tolerance policy for rude, disrespectful, hateful, discriminatory or aggressive language or behavior towards other BayMasters patrons or staff.
- Due to the nature of our reservations and limited supply, late arrivals will not be granted additional time at the end of their session. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, and be prepared to pay for additional time should you need it.
- All repair bays must be returned to their original state before the end of your session. This includes tools restoring tools to their original location, floors swept as needed, disposal of trash, and spills containment.
- All tools and equipment must be cleaned and returned in the same condition as when they were provided, and returned to designated locations in the tool chest or specialty tools cabinet.
- All spills must be immediately and properly contained using provided absorbents. Consult BayMasters stuff in the event of any spills.
- Oily rags and towels must be disposed of into the proper (labelled) metal containers. Do not dispose of oily rags in trash cans.
- All work areas must be kept clean and safe.
- All customers are required to check-out with a staff member before leaving. Please allow at least 15 minutes at the end of your session for cleanup and check-out.
